Using this site
By browsing Ananta Naad you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. There is no account to close, because the site has none.
What the site is for
Ananta Naad publishes Sanskrit mantra text, transliteration, plain-language meaning, recordings of chants, and daily panchang information. It is offered for devotional and informational purposes only.
Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal, financial or astrological advice, and nothing here promises an outcome. Please consult a qualified professional for any decision that matters.
Accuracy and traditions
Text and meanings are checked before publication, and calendar dates are confirmed against a data provider for the city you select. Even so, regional traditions differ and errors are possible.
Where your family, temple or tradition observes a different date, reading or practice, theirs is the one to follow. Please report any error you find.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Do not scrape the site in bulk or republish it as your own.
- Do not use the material in a way that is disrespectful to the traditions it comes from.
- Do not misrepresent this site as speaking for any temple, order or authority.
Content and ownership
The site's original writing, design, artwork and recordings belong to their publisher. What you may and may not do with them is set out on the copyright page.
Third-party services and links
Chants play through YouTube's embedded player and some data is supplied by external providers. Those services have their own terms, which govern your use of them. Links to other sites are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for their content.
Availability
The site is provided as it is, without any warranty. It is maintained by one person, so pages may change, move or be unavailable from time to time, and a recording may be removed if it is removed from the underlying channel.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or the material on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site develops. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site means accepting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Where the law of your own country of residence gives you mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
These terms were written by the publisher and have not yet had a professional legal review. That review will be completed before any commercial launch, and this page will be updated when it is.
